Argentina Durán
Argentina Durán, is a young professional who has developed a unique career as a solo and collaborative pianist.

She was mentored by professor Trinidad Sanchís through out her career and has been awarded in competitions such as the National Piano Competition Angelica Morales-Yamaha in Mexico City and the International Piano Competition Irina Samodaeva. She obtained her bachelor's degree in 2015 from the Faculty of Music of Veracruz’s University. She was awarded a grant through FONCA-CONACYT and the Chicago College of Performing Arts in Illinois for her studies in piano performance with Jorge Federico Osorio. She has performed as a soloist with the Orquesta Sinfónica de Xalapa (Xalapa Symphony Orchestra), Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional (National Symphony Orchestra), Orquesta Sinfónica de San Luis Potosí (Symphony Orchestra of San Luis Potosi), Orquesta Sinfónica del Instituto Politécnico Nacional (Symphony Orchestra of the National Polytechnic Institute) among others. She has been invited to perform as a soloist in Granade, Spain and Baku, Azerbaijan. She has played in the most important halls in Mexico such as the Palacio de Bellas Artes (Palace of Fine Arts) and Auditorio Nacional (National Auditorium). This year, she completed a Master's Degree specialized in the performance of Mexican Classical Music at the Conservatorio Nacional de Música (National Conservatory of Music) in Mexico, city.
Currently she is the pianist of the Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional (National Symphony Orchestra of Mexico), and the youngest piano professor at the the National Autonomous University in Mexico City.
