Maria Rabbia
Maria hails from New Hartford, New York, and recently received an MM in Collaborative Piano from Ithaca College where she studied with Dr. Diane Birr.

She received a BA in Piano from the College of Saint Rose, studying under Dr. Young Kim. Coaching and collaborative credits include the International Performing Arts Institute in Kiefersfelden, Germany (2017-2020), The Voice Institute of the Finger Lakes (2019), and participation as a Young Artist with Opera Company of Middlebury (2019). Equally passionate about both art song and opera, Maria was a part of the Middlebury Song Festival (2018), and worked with Opera Ithaca on productions of La bohème (2019) and Carmen (2018). Maria has played for over 50 recitals at Ithaca College and is the pianist for the newly released The Great Courses “How to sing.” During COVID 2020, she was the music director for The Social Distance Opera Project's premiere release of Don Giovanni and is slated to be the rehearsal pianist/chorus master for Opera Ithaca's production of Le Nozze di Figaro in fall 2021.
In addition to vocal coaching and accompanying, Maria also enjoys teaching piano lessons through Opus Ithaca School of Music and is the music director of Forest Home United Methodist Church in Ithaca.
