Yin Lin
Shanghai-born collaborative pianist and singer Yin Lin majored in Music Education at the Shanghai Normal University School while simultaneously studying Bel Canto with the famous opera singer Qing Yang.

During her undergraduate studies, Yin was a collaborative pianist and choir member in Shanghai XingZhi Girl’s Choir. She participated at the 17th Spain International Music Festival in Barcelona as a piano accompanist and choir member and was also selected to perform the Chinese piece “Autumn Moon over the Calm Lake” as a solo pianist in the welcome banquet at the Chinese Embassy in Spain.
Yin has won awards at the 3rd Zhu Jiang Piano Cup National Piano competition and the Shanghai International Accordion Chamber Competition.
As a collaborative pianist, Yin has collaborated with a lot of talented musicians for their recitals in both China and the US and is currently an active member of her University’s chamber program.
As a vocalist, she studied jazz vocal with Coco Zhao and Jonas Seetoh in Shanghai, and has performed jazz at the French Summer Charity Music Festival in Shanghai.
Currently, she is the pianist of Women’s Ensemble at Mayfield Senior School and Mountain View Mennonite Church, and is currently studying collaborative piano with Dr. Joel Clifft at Azusa Pacific University.
